Big Bear Airport (L35)
Big Bear City
Airport* is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a
year, and is the only airport serving all
the Big Bear Valley and Lake Arrowhead
communities. Hanger rentals, tie downs, auto
storage and overnight parking are available.
The airport
cooperates with San Bernardino County
Emergency Services, providing storage for a
500-bed emergency hospital, housing,
generator power, manpower, emergency
ingress/egress and Medivac. The local Civil
Air Patrol has its base at the airport which
also serves as the staging base for U.S.
Forest Service fire suppression and
California Highway Patrol aircraft.
